Tresa Peters

Tresa was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and is a proud graduate of Portland State University (Go Vikings!) with a degree in Public Health Administration. She has built her career in healthcare operations and clinic management, bringing years of leadership and a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. What drew her to F2 Ortho was the strong alignment in values: thoughtful care, innovation, and a genuine commitment to people. Outside of work, she is married and a proud mom of two boys. Her family is hockey-loving through and through, and when she’s not at the rink, she enjoys volunteering, coaching, running, or spending time with their Goldendoodle, Gordie. She also loves coffee, wine, and the occasional midday karaoke session.

Christian Cox, ATC/OTC

Christian was born in Port Angeles, Washington but spent most of his life in Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2015 with a degree in Athletic Training. In addition to being a certified athletic trainer (ATC), he is also a Certified Orthopaedic Technologist (OTC) and assists in surgery alongside Dr. Yen Shipley. Soon to be a licensed medical X-ray operator (LMXO), Christian is the one who will be taking your X-rays in clinic. He is passionate about providing exceptional care and takes pride in always putting patients first. He enjoys working at F2 Ortho because its values reflect how he approaches athletic training, surgical assistance, and regenerative medicine. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his Goldendoodle and indulging in his hometown favorite: Skyline Chili served over spaghetti.

Marissa Lauer-Whitney

Marissa Lauer-Whitney began her healthcare career in 2016 by training as a hemodialysis technician for DaVita. She was motivated to work in a field built on the principles of compassion, empathy, and integrity. Her journey then led her to work for Moda health to become immersed in health insurance, and to better advocate for patients on the administrative side of healthcare. However, she missed the clinical setting and wished to experience the rehabilitative side of medicine to witness patient healing and recovery. This resulted in working for Reflex Knee Clinic in excess of seven years in patient authorizations and billing until the clinic closure. She is excited to embark on the next chapter of her career while continuing to work in the orthopedic setting. She is a lifelong Oregonian living with her husband and two cats. She enjoys traveling, baking, gardening, and occasionally putting her art degree to good use.

Vi Nguyen

Vi Nguyen was born in Vietnam and raised in Salem, Oregon. She is bilingual in English and Vietnamese earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a concentration in Preclinical Science from Portland State University. Vi discovered her passion for patient care while working as a dialysis technician, where she felt deeply honored to be entrusted by patients during some of their most vulnerable moments. These experiences solidified her aspiration to become a physician assistant, a role through which she hopes to build lasting, compassionate relationships with patients. In her free time, Vi enjoys staying active through fitness, experimenting in the kitchen, and exploring Portland’s diverse and dynamic food scene.
